Quality Control, Food Safety & HACCP Coordinator

Fruithill, Inc., is currently accepting applications for an experienced HACCP coordinator capable of managing our program year-round. The successful applicant should be a self-starter with leadership experience and a strong grasp of food safety regulations. Flexibility, creativity, initiative, the ability to communicate clearly and the ability to focus amidst a variety of competing demands are key elements of the job. References are required.

  1. Be responsible for maintaining, improving and implementing current HACCP Plan and Quality System Program
  2. Experience with USDA/FDA guidelines.
  3. Experience with third party audits (AIB, BRC, ISO, etc).
  4. Act as a liaison with food safety regulatory officials and customer QA/QC departments.
  5. Communicate with growers, ingredient, container & machinery suppliers and customers in all quality and food safety related issues
  6. Work with and advise the plant management team and employees to implement established programs to resolve quality issues as needed.
  7. Provide food safety, GMP, SOP, sanitization and basic HACCP training to employees.
  8. Must have strong leadership and communication skills.
  9. Oversee production line for quality, including supervision of lab and sanitation teams.
  10. Advise management regarding development of policies, programs & procedures and all QA/QC/HACCP-related techniques and testing equipment and supplies.
  11. Work closely with maintenance team.
